Born and raised in League City, Texas, Kristina Thompson began taking dance classes at the age of two. She has extensive training in jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, modern, and drill team. While attending Clear Creek High School, she joined the Cavaliers dance team, where she served as 1st Senior Lieutenant and was also selected for Jazz Company, Kick Company, and Hip Hop Company.

Kristina graduated from Texas State University in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications, and minor in art. She was a member of the Texas State Strutters, the first precision dance team formed at a four-year university and currently the largest in the nation, and held a leadership position as a line officer for the team of over 100 girls. During her time on the team, Kristina performed in San Antonio, Dallas, Paris, and New York in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Upon graduation, Kristina taught dance at Houston Dance Works for five years. She received her Teacher Certification during this time in effort to teach dance full time and get back into drill team. She started teaching dance at Clear Brook High School in 2021 and has loved every minute of it. She is extremely passionate about the art of dance and believes that it is more than just a class, but a way to express yourself while also improving discipline and character. Because of this, she thoroughly enjoys educating the next generation of dancers and hopes they fall in love with it as she did.
